Paint, Paint, and more Paint!!!

A year ago I bought new bedding for our bedroom and decided that our room would look better if we painted it. Ed groaned and rolled his eyes, but he did agree. Around this same time I decided I wanted to paint the computer/stamping room. We did get that room painted in July or August, but our bedroom is still the same old boring cream color it's always been.

BUT!!! This past Saturday we went to Home Depot and bought paint! We bought a quart of a pretty sage green to see if we like it in the bedroom. We also bought a dark red for the dining room and kitchen (under the chair rail). AND!!!! (Yes, there's more!) We bought a really pretty sand color for the hall bath. I recently ran across an awesome sale at Kohl's and bought a new shower curtain and towels. Warming up the paint in there will make a huge difference! I haven't mentioned to Ed yet that I think new towel racks, faucet, and light fixture would be wonderful! ;)

Ed has spent the past few evenings priming the walls in the dining room and kitchen. Tomorrow night we'll actually start painting. The primer looks great, so I can hardly wait to see how nice it looks when it's all finished! I painted one corner of our bedroom today and so far I like the color we chose. We'll live with it for a few days and see if we want to change colors or not.

I think the hall bath will wait until next weekend when Ed's home. I'm having surgery on my foot next Thursday and he'll be home Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If we can't get that little room painted in four days something is wrong! :)
