I Know, I Know...

...I promised more cards and more blog posts! I'm sorry, life has been quite hectic around here the past couple of weeks. I haven't made any more cards, either. Let's see if I can give you the Reader's Digest Abridged Version of "Life at the Karns' House, August '09."

- Several appts at the HS to get Bryan all set up for the classes he needs to graduate in the spring.
- Senior portraits
- School shopping
- I started Physical Therapy twice a week to help the issues I have with my lower back.
- More school shopping
- Drive Bryan from Point A to Point B and back again. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
- Ed flew to PA to help his mom move.
- Mother in law (Mom2) moved here from PA.
- Helped Mom2 get moved into her house.
- Drove or navigated Mom2 from Point A to Point B and back again. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
- Took Mom2 computer shopping and got the new one all set up and working.
- Worked like crazy to get everything ready for the new year at church.
- Bryan had multiple dental appts. He's getting all 4 wisdom teeth out on Thursday.
- More school shopping
- Dealt with drama involving online friends

That's about it. When I've had time to stamp, I haven't had the energy to do so! :) I will again soon, even though I probably won't make my goal of 100 cards by Labor Day.

The other night Ed laid down on the floor for some doggy/daddy time and Little Miss Emma Grace decided to join the club. Now, Emma is a seriously prissy little cat. She despises Hank and tolerates Sam, so for her to get in on doggy/daddy time was a once in a lifetime event that just had to caught on film (or digital media, as the case may be).

First she came in and laid down against Ed's arm. Hank got nervous and removed his face from the vicinity. His nose knows all too well just how sharp Miss Emma's claws are.

A few minutes later she decided to go exploring and moved in to snuffle Ed's shorts and then Sam's front paw. She actually started rubbing her head on Sam's paw. It was cute to watch because Sam's foot is about the size of Emma's head. Poor Sammy looked so nervous when she was doing this! I think he was scared to move lest she claw him. Notice that Hank moved back in and used Ed's elbow as a pillow. He's a stinker, but he sure can be cute sometimes!

And most amazing of all, Emma actually walked around Sam and laid down back-to-back with him! Shocking!!!! Ed and I were speechless! This had to be documented, because anyone who knows our furkids would never believe it!
