LOSTies????

You may have heard me mention the "LOSTies" or my "LOSTie sisters" and wondered what the heck I was talking about. It's hard for many people to understand, but we're a group of ladies that came to know each other on Splitcoaststampers (the greatest stamping site on the web!). Our initial mutual interest was the TV show LOST and we came together at the end of the first season, discussing characters, plots, potential plots, etc. The Sisterhood of the LOSTies was born that summer. We have grown in number since then, and we have grown much closer as friends. We discuss everything under the sun - family, work, school, even grocery shopping!!! Some of us live close together, some live thousands of miles away, one of us lives in Norway! My dear LOSTie sister Tracy posted this on her blog last week and it sums up who and what we are so perfectly, that I asked if I could post it on my blog. Thanks, Tracy, for letting me use it!

There are 35 LOSTie sisters. I've met 8 in person, and will meet another in a couple of weeks!!!

A Friend first

Someone to laugh with
Someone who waits each week for Wednesdays
A shoulder to cry on
Someone who will always find time to comment in your gallery
Someone who will ride the "gutter bus" with you ;)
A LOST conspiracy theorist

We are each others cheerleaders
We are stampers
We are daughters
We are sisters
We are married, single and divorced
Some of us are aunts
Some are new moms
Some are grandmoms
Some of us are still waiting to be moms
All of us are 'Aunties' to the LOSTie babies

The Sisterhood of the LOSTies is the best place on SCS ever!!!

I can honestly say I've never had a tighter, more supportive group of friends. Growing up in a military family and moving every few years doesn't exactly lend itself to long lasting friendships! I believe I will be friends with these ladies for many, many, many years!
