That's my Granny's word. Whurped. In "normal" English it is "whipped", but in Mississippi-ese it turns into "whurped." As in "I'm gonna' whurp you if you don't behave!" Or, "Man, I'm tired. I'm absolutely whurped!" And that is exactly what I am. Whurped! Tired. Exhausted.
It's been a very, very busy week for me. I had school on Monday and Wednesday morning, an early morning doctor's appointment on Tuesday, Thursday I got my hair cut and ran some errands, Friday I bought groceries and today I had my monthly stamp group meeting. The week ahead doesn't look any better!
Now, granted, having one place to go or one thing to do each day would seem nice and calm or pleasantly busy to most "normal" people, but considering that I have spent the last year only going out one or two days a week it was extremely busy! I'm enjoying being busier, but my body and brain are beginning to tell me to slow down and take it easy. I should probably listen, huh? :)
On the bright side, I did drive myself to class on Monday and Wednesday without incident and didn't have to have anyone come pick me up. I really didn't expect that. I figured that I would have reached my limit by the time class was over, but I did drive myself home and took a nice long nap! So YAY for me! :) It really is nice to be stepping out on my own again. I think that before the end of the semester I'll be driving whenever and wherever I please again, much to the dismay of our fuel bill! :)
