Ice...

It's been an icy day here in Central Texas. Saturday it was 82, yesterday it was 50ish, and today it never got above freezing. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr............. I wish I had taken pictures earlier in the day, but unfortunately it was too dark out when I finally remembered to grab the camera. Woke up to rain and dropping temps this morning, resulting in everything covered in ice - trees, fences, clothes line, bird feeder, mailbox. It was kind of pretty, in a way. Thankfully it was warm enough over the weekend that the ground wasn't frozen and nothing stuck to the roads. It was just a nasty, nasty day - the kind of day where you just can't get warm. Thankfully it's supposed to be 56 tomorrow, and back up to 70 by Weds. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to Wednesday! *grin*
