Time flies....

It's been a week since I posted? Really? Wow. Time does fly, doesn't it? Well, not much new going on around here. We are now Sam's Club members and have a house full of stuff for Bryan's lunches. I'm glad he's old enough to fix his own lunch in the mornings. Lord knows I'm not awake enough that early to put a decent lunch together. :) He is getting accustomed to a new semester and a couple of new classes. One class he's taking is Crime in America and he is really enjoying it so far.

All of the animals are doing fine. Hank's hair is growing back on his chest, and other than a slight bump where his incision was you'd never know he tangled with a raccoon. My mother called last night about 9:00 to tell me that their dog had a close encounter with a skunk. Thankfully he didn't get a full shot of "skunk juice," but I guess he still smells pretty terrible. Mom's going to the store this morning to buy tomato juice. I'll let you know how it all turns out.

On the stamping front, I'm hostessing a Valentine's Card Kit swap, and they are starting to arrive in my mailbox. I have had no creative mojo in weeks, so this is a great way to jump start it. I made two cards and one other project yesterday. I can't post them for a few more weeks, but maybe I can get a couple of sneak peeks in the coming days....

Ed's grandmother passed away this weekend. She was his mother's mother and has been in poor health for the past year. Ed's mom has had a tough few months - laid off from her job due to the poor real estate market, the death of her brother, and now she has lost her mom. I hope when everything settles down after the funeral that she will look into moving south. Ed's sister and BIL live in AL, so if she moved to AL or to TX she'd be close to family. She's pretty much on her own where she lives now. (Mom? Are you reading this? Come on down! The weather is warmer and the people are friendly! :) )

I bought Season 4 of LOST this past week and have started watching it. Only 8 more days until the season premiere of season 5! WOOHOO!!!!!!
