So with out further ado, here are the cards that I made with my LOSTie sister's card kits that we swapped for V-Day.....
First, Kris's card kit. She sent Basic Black & Regal Rose CS, DP, and this darling Memory Box penguin image. I colored it w/ markers and added pink Stickles to the top of the heart. I also added the Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon and used Nesties to punch out the image and the scalloped circle.
Laura's kit included Pixie Pink and Real Red CS, Candy Cane PP from SU, and images from the Love You Much stamp set by Stampin' Up. I stamped the background w/ an image from Beyond the Basics, used my Karen Foster snap stamps to stamp the "love" and "you" on the small hearts, and added gems to the main image.
Jeannie's kit included images from SU's Priceless stamp set, CS in Purely Pomegranate, Chocolate Chip, and Pretty in Pink, & Berry Bliss PP from SU. I added Stardust Stickles to the edges of the heart, blurring ink just a bit & Purely Pom satin ribbon. Quick and fun!
Debbie's kit included paper from American Crafts, Riding Hood Red CS, and the image is from ATS (digital download). I added Chocolate Chip and RHR ribbon, used my Nesties to cut and emboss the scalloped circles, and added the sentiment (from A Muse). I inked the edges of everything with Choc Chip ink, colored the iimage with Prismacolor pencils & OMS, and added touches of Stickles.
Rachel's kit was another quick one. She included Rose Red CS, an image from Inkadinkado stamped in Purely Pomegranate, and two papers from K & Co. I added the Purely Pom & Choco Chip ribbon, and layered two hearts on top of one another (separated by dimensionals). You can't see the effect in the picture, but I think it looks neat IRL.
And last for today is my friend Cindy's kit. She sent a darling Changito image and sentiment from the Changito Dos set by Stampendous, Certainly Celery, Ruby Red, and Pretty in Pink CS, and Sweetie Pie Swoon PP from Bo Bunny. I used one of the embossing plates from Just My Type CB set on the red strip of CS, colored the image w/ Prismacolor pencils and OMS, used the corner ticket punch and the curly label punch, and inked the edges of the CS w/ Ruby Red ink. Just a note - you can't use flock on this Changito image. It turns into a two headed, four legged, brown fuzzy blob. Yes, I know this from experience! :)
Well, that's 6 out of 12. I'll try to post the rest of them tomorrow. I think Emma Grace is going to starve to death if I don't feed her this instant, so I'd better go take care of her. Can't have a dead kitty! :)
